Some things change - fashions, currencies, monarchies - but some things remain. Brett will emcee his 14th consecutive Disability Employment Australia national conference in 2020. The conference brings together a sector now valued at close to a billion dollars.

“There’s no issue closer to my heart than employment,” says Brett. “Jobs mean acceptance, status, challenge, integration, acceptance - it’s so much more than just the money.

Working with the sector that finds work for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment is a pure pleasure and it’s always a treat to work with an audience that knows you. If anyone there has been to a conference since 2006, they’ll know me.’
