An award-giving performance
Twenty five years is an anniversary worth celebrating so the Vinyl Council Australia turned up the heat for its annual AGM, turning it into an awards dinner.
Brett de Hoedt had the pleasure of acting as emcee for the night which saw the industry association honour those that helped start the national initiative in the late 1990s and those who are taking it forward for the next 25 years. There was even a specially minted anniversary chocolate bar and cake in the shape of the letters V, C and A.'
Brett had previously acted as the after dinner speaker at the event so it was doubly gratifying for him to be asked to return. He loves awards ceremonies as the excitement is always high. Professional recognition holds a special place for recipients as it is a rare moment of public recognition.
The feedback on Brett’s performance from Vinyl Council Australia event czar Carol Hassan?
“Thank you for a wonderful night, I’ve only had all positive feedback.”
